A small team.
A big vision.
CDA runs lean, on purpose. Every member gets real attention from the people actually building this — not a call center, not a ticket queue.
At CDA, every member gets direct access to the people actually running the agency — no ticket queues, no automated replies. Hollis handles creative direction, talent placement, and client relationships. Qiana handles business operations, systems, and the infrastructure that makes everything run. Between the two of them, every side of your experience — whether you're a dancer building your career or a business booking talent — is covered by someone who actually knows your name.

Hollis Bourne-Frye, BFA
Hollis Bourne-Frye is the Founder of The Collective Dance Agency, bringing over 30 years of dance training and 10+ years of teaching experience into building CDA's vision, talent development, and high-level client relationships. She holds a BFA in Dance, Choreography, and Performing Arts from Radford University, where she trained in concert dance — centered on modern technique including Horton, Martha Graham, and Twyla Tharp methodologies, alongside musical theatre stylings drawn from the Bob Fosse tradition and exposure to West African dance through master classes — and later studied commercial dance in Los Angeles, including filming, heels, twerk, and contemporary-fusion work, giving her a rare, blended fluency across both concert and commercial dance worlds. Beyond her artistic background, Hollis has spent the past decade building management experience across multiple industries, and her time in LA gave her a front-row view into how talent agencies operate and treat their talent — insight she now applies directly to how CDA is built and run. As a performer, choreographer, and dance instructor with real business acumen, she leads CDA's strategy and final approvals while staying hands-on in placing talent, shaping opportunities, and solving the operational problems that hold both dancers and businesses back.

Qiana Tompkins, MBA
Qiana Tompkins leads CDA's business management and operations, structuring the systems that let the agency scale reliably. A Radford University graduate with an MBA, a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Business Analytics, and a Bachelor of Music with a concentration in music therapy, Qiana brings a rare dual fluency — she understands both the operational mechanics of running a business and the artistry and creative language at the heart of CDA's work. Her academic path itself reflects that blend: her music therapy background trained her to read behavioral patterns and translate them into structured data, while her business analytics certificate sharpened her skills in predictive modeling and market segmentation. As founder of QT Business Consulting, she specializes in business strategy, marketing systems, and operations support for entrepreneurs and growing brands. At CDA, she supports both sides of the marketplace — helping talent build entrepreneurial confidence and negotiate their rates with clarity, while equipping clients with the operational structure and marketing support to hire and manage creative talent smoothly. Whether you're a dancer building your career or a business booking your next event, Qiana makes sure the systems behind the scenes actually work.
Small enough to know every member by name.
Built to stay that way as we grow.
