Cookie Policy
Effective date: October 19, 2026 · Last updated: October 19, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how The Collective Dance Agency LLC, doing business as The Collective Dance Agency ("CDA"), uses cookies and similar technologies (such as local and session storage) on thecollectivedanceagency.com.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. "Similar technologies" include local storage and session storage, which save small amounts of data in your browser. Some are set by us ("first-party"); some by services we use ("third-party").
2. What we use today
| Category | Purpose | Set by | Examples |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Keep you signed in, remember your bag/cart, keep your chat conversation as you move between pages, protect against abuse | CDA (via our hosting and authentication providers) | Sign-in session (local storage); cart; chat session (cleared when you close the tab) |
| Your preferences | Remember that you closed or completed our email-signup prompt and saw this cookie notice, so we don't keep asking | CDA (local storage) | cda_nl_dismissed_at (when you closed the signup prompt; we wait 30 days before showing it again), cda_nl_submitted (you signed up, so it never shows again), cda_cookie_notice_ack (you closed the cookie notice) |
| Payments and fraud prevention | Secure checkout and detect fraud | Stripe | Stripe checkout cookies |
| Embedded services | Booking calls, forms and messaging widgets work when you use them | Calendly, Inflowave, form providers | Set only on pages where the embed loads |
| Fonts | Display our typefaces | CDA and Google Fonts | Our main typefaces (Playfair Display and Inter) are served from our own site. A few script display fonts are requested from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address; no advertising cookie is set by this request |
| Site analytics | Count visits and see which pages are used, in aggregate | Our hosting provider | — |
We don't currently use advertising, retargeting, or social media tracking pixels. If we add any, we'll update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires.
3. Your choices
- Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop sign-in, checkout or the chat from working.
- To limit third-party embeds, avoid interacting with them or use browser privacy settings.
- Global Privacy Control: because we don't sell or share personal information for targeted advertising, there's nothing for that signal to switch off today. If that changes, we'll honor GPC as an opt-out.
4. Changes and contact
We'll update this page when our use of cookies changes. Questions: legal@thecollectivedanceagency.com.
