Membership, Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective date: October 19, 2026 · Last updated: October 16, 2026
This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for purchases from The Collective Dance Agency LLC, doing business as The Collective Dance Agency ("CDA"). It's part of our Terms of Service.
1. Memberships (Studio, Company, Featured Artist)
- Automatic renewal. Memberships renew automatically each billing period (monthly unless stated otherwise) and charge the payment method on file until you cancel. The price and renewal terms are shown before you buy.
- Cancel anytime. Fill out the short cancellation form at /cancel-membership, or email support@thecollectivedanceagency.com with the subject "Cancel my membership." Include the name and email on your membership. You don't need to give a reason or speak with anyone. Our support team confirms your cancellation by email within one business day.
- After you cancel, you won't be charged again. You keep full access to your membership until the end of the billing period you've already paid for, and then your access ends. Your cancellation counts from the moment we receive it: if a renewal charge goes through after you sent your request, we'll refund it.
- Rejoining. You're welcome back anytime at the then-current price.
- 7-day first-charge refund. If you're new to a membership tier, you can request a full refund of your first membership payment within 7 days of that charge. We'll cancel the membership and end access when we issue the refund. This applies once per person.
- Other charges. Except as stated above or required by law, renewal charges aren't refunded, including partially used periods.
- Price changes. We'll email you at least 30 days before a new price applies to your membership. You can cancel before it takes effect.
- Featured Artist membership is by application. If your application isn't accepted, you won't be charged; if you were charged in error, you'll get a full refund.
- Failed payments. We'll retry and may pause access until the payment succeeds. Email support@thecollectivedanceagency.com and we'll send you a secure link to update your card.
- Annual memberships. Annual plans are billed once for 12 months of membership and renew automatically each year until you cancel. We'll email you at least 30 days before each renewal with the date and price. You can cancel anytime to stop the next renewal, and you keep access through the end of the year you've paid for. If you're new to a membership tier, you can request a full refund of your first annual payment within 7 days of that charge, once per person. Otherwise, unused months of an annual plan aren't refunded, except where the law requires.
2. Class passes and live classes
- Unused passes and packs: refundable within 7 days of purchase if no class from the pass has been booked or attended. After that, passes aren't refundable.
- Expiration: 5-packs and 10-packs expire 6 months after purchase, as shown at checkout.
- Cancelling a booked class: cancel at least 24 hours before the class starts and your class credit is returned to your account.
- Late cancellations and no-shows (less than 24 hours' notice) use the class credit.
- If CDA cancels or reschedules a class, you choose: a full refund for that class or a credit.
- Technical problems on our side that stop you from attending (for example, a broken class link we didn't fix in time) get a credit or refund, your choice. Contact support within 7 days.
3. Masterclass tickets and recorded masterclasses
- Live masterclass tickets follow the class rules above (24-hour cancellation for a credit; full refund or credit if CDA cancels).
- Recorded masterclasses and digital downloads are refundable within 7 days of purchase only if you haven't started watching or downloading them. Once accessed, they're non-refundable, except when a technical problem on our side prevents access and we can't fix it.
4. Coaching and consultations
Reschedule or cancel at least 24 hours before your session for a full credit or refund. Later cancellations and no-shows aren't refunded. If CDA cancels, you choose a refund or a rescheduled session.
5. CDA merchandise
Merch is printed on demand. We don't accept returns for size or preference. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or misprinted, or the wrong item arrives, email support@thecollectivedanceagency.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo. We'll send a replacement or refund. Lost packages: contact us within 30 days of the estimated delivery date. Full details are in the Merch Shipping & Returns Policy.
6. Business services (job board, roster access, Casting on Demand)
Listings and business services are governed by the order form or agreement for that service. Unless that document says otherwise: single listings are non-refundable once published; monthly or annual roster access can be cancelled anytime to stop future renewals, and access continues to the end of the paid period.
7. How to request a refund
Email support@thecollectivedanceagency.com with your name, the email on your account, what you bought, and the date. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days after processing.
8. Chargebacks
Please contact us first. We resolve most issues quickly. If you file a chargeback for a purchase covered by this policy, we may pause your account while it's reviewed.
